Revisión Sistemática y Nuevos Caminos por Recorrer Sobre la Envidia en el Trabajo

La envidia es un fenómeno emocional con efectos sobre los individuos y las organizaciones, ya que afecta a las relaciones, al comportamiento y al desempeño, y se caracteriza como una emoción social negativa causada por el deseo de poseer algo que falta. En este sentido, el objetivo de esta revisión sistemática consiste en mapear los itinerarios, la estructura conceptual y los nuevos caminos por recorrer sobre la envidia en el trabajo. Al mapear los itinerarios, fue posible identificar un periodo temporal de publicaciones comprendido entre 1995 y 2024. El análisis temático, realizado mediante el análisis factorial de las palabras clave, permitió identificar la estructura temática y conceptual del campo de la envidia en el trabajo a partir de cuatro agrupamientos: comprensión y gestión de las emociones de los trabajadores, supervisión abusiva, teoría del apego y contexto de investigación. Así, la agenda de investigación se estructuró en 18 proposiciones que incorporan aspectos contemporáneos y temáticos, con vistas al avance progresivo de este campo de estudios. Esta investigación ofrece un panorama robusto de los estudios sobre la envidia en el trabajo. Los resultados presentados revelan la actualidad de la temática, sus impactos, antecedentes, estructura conceptual y una agenda con nuevas direcciones a seguir para comprender este fenómeno desde diferentes perspectivas y teorías.
