Resumen

Este artículo explora el papel del activismo digital en la formación de una identidad panafricana descolonial, destacando cómo las plataformas digitales permiten desafiar narrativas hegemónicas y eurocéntricas que históricamente perpetuaron estereotipos sobre África y sus diásporas. Utilizando un marco teórico que combina la descolonialidad y el panafricanismo, el artículo examina cómo el activismo digital contribuye a la creación de nuevas identidades africanas y afrodescendientes, fomentando la solidaridad transnacional que trasciende fronteras geográficas y culturales. Revisa autores clave en el debate sobre colonialismo, representaciones mediáticas e identidad, demostrando que la comunicación digital puede ser una herramienta esencial para deconstruir imaginarios coloniales y valorar la pluralidad y complejidad de las experiencias africanas contemporáneas.
