El Papel de la Regulación Emocional en la Relación Entre Ansiedad, Rasgos Impulsivos, Motivación Alimentaria e Impulsividad en la Compra de Alimentos

La impulsividad relacionada con los alimentos se describe como una respuesta regulatoria a emociones negativas. Este estudio analiza cómo los rasgos impulsivos, la ansiedad y las motivaciones alimentarias influyen en la impulsividad en la compra de alimentos, considerando el papel mediador de la regulación emocional. Una muestra de conveniencia compuesta principalmente por mujeres brasileñas de altos ingresos participó en el estudio. Los resultados muestran que los individuos con mayores dificultades para regular emociones y con tendencia a compras impulsivas son más propensos a la impulsividad en las compras. La ansiedad rasgo afecta negativamente el autocontrol emocional, mientras que adoptar objetivos funcionales puede mejorar la regulación emocional. Este estudio contribuye al conocimiento teórico y práctico sobre el comportamiento impulsivo en la compra de alimentos, especialmente en contextos emocionales.
