Editorial Process

Manuscripts submitted to Interações. Sociedade e as Novas Modernidades are evaluated in accordance with a rigorous and transparent editorial process.

Stages of the editorial process

1. Preliminary check
   Initial assessment by the editorial team regarding the manuscript’s scope, compliance with guidelines and suitability to the journal.
2. Peer review
   Scientific evaluation by external reviewers under a double-blind peer review system.
3. Editorial decision
   Based on the reviewers’ reports, the editorial decision may result in:
   – Acceptance;
   – Acceptance subject to revisions;
   – Rejection.
4. Revisions and final decision
   Where applicable, authors are invited to make the requested revisions.

Editorial decisions are based exclusively on scientific quality, academic relevance and suitability to the journal’s scope.
