Focus and Scope

Interações is a scientific journal of Instituto Superior Miguel Torga with a biannual edition. The journal publishes original articles that present research results and/or theoretical reflection in the different fields of Social and Human Sciences.

From an interdisciplinary editorial perspective, Interações' primary objective is to foster the reflection and diffusion of knowledge in the areas of Social and Human Sciences. The journal accepts articles of scientific investigation, book reviews and critical essays.

Interações is ruled by the double-blind review standard, ensuring the anonymity of reviewers and authors throughout the review process.

Peer Review Process

The evaluation, revision and approval of papers submitted for publication are dependent on peer review, on an anonymous basis.

Two evaluators from different institutions will review each text.

The review criteria focus on the double-blind peer review process, according to the instructions for authors, Interaçõespublication criteria and calls for papers.

Open Access Policy

Interações offers immediate free access to its content, following the principle that providing free scientific knowledge to the public provides greater global democratisation of knowledge.

Copyright and Licensing

The copyright of published works is retained by the author who grants Interações the original publication right. The published article can be used freely for educational, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with the Creative Commons License - Attribution-Non-Commercial 4.0 International, provided that the author, the title of the article, the title and number of the journal are cited together with the URL or DOI of the article.

Plagiarism

Interações applies techniques and services to detect plagiarism, total or partial, in articles submitted for publication, which, in these circumstances will be rejected, with indication to the authors of the reason for such decision.

Repository Policy

The author has the right to deposit the article in the scientific repository or scientific documentation archives of the organization to which he belongs, for example, a University or University Institute, and, for this purpose, he must use the PDF version of the article published by Interações.

Publication Fees

Interações does not charge authors any amount for publishing the submitted articles.
