Abstract
As propostas contemporâneas acerca da legalização das drogas dão acesso à variedade do cenário político e do contexto ideológico actual. As principais perspectivas deste debate sobre drogas e legalização incluem os conservadores culturais, liberalistas do mercado ou comércio livre, construtivistas radicais, legalizadores progressistas e proibicionistas progressistas. Em termos políticos, estas perspectivas podem ser encaradas como manifestações de compromissos ideológicos mais profundos e influentes.
Summary
The discussions on the drugs legalization are a vivid reflection of the diversity of the contemporary political scenario and ideological context. The more high-profile views in this debate are offered by the cultural conservatives, free-market libertarians, radical constructionists, progressive legalizers and progressive prohibitionists. Under a political light, the predominant perspectives on drugs and legalization may be seen as manifestations of deep and compelling ideological commitments.
