Abstract

New technology was demonstrated an important tool to promote the security and quality of life in older people. This research was centred in publish studies in the last five years. The objective is to understand their participation in society through the internet. New information and communication technology (ICT) were explored in the older people day life and the importance to improve literacy an aging constructive. ICTs adapted to the needs of the elderly can prove to be an important tool in the participation of social movements, promoting older people in a society in constant technological transformation.
