Abstract

A relação entre o serviço social e a promoção da democracia é considerada uma relação óbvia, mas constitui, em qualquer caso, uma relação complexa. Este ensaio é uma reflexão sobre o uso e abuso do conceito de democracia no discurso ético do serviço social, explorando a complexidade e radicalidade do próprio conceito de democracia.Social Work and Democracy: What Challenges?The relation between social work and the promotion of democracy is considered an obvious relation, but it constitutes in any case a complex relation.
