O objetivo aqui é analisar um mapa de conversações no serviço de microblogging Twitter através de uma hashtags (palavra-chave) e, por outro lado, desenhar uma rede social baseada em "folksonomy" ("social tagging"). O objetivo é compreender se o potencial colaborativo da Web se materializa em espaços declarados de participação pública e em rede, compreendendo se os ambientes em rede (baseados na inteligência e ação coletivas) promovem um novo tipo de cidadania e consequente sociabilidade com novas práticas e relações sociais.
Twitter Social Networks: The Emergence of a New Sociability in a New Communication Ecosystem?
The aim here is to analyze a map of conversations on microblogging service Twitter through a hashtag (keyword) and, on the other hand, to draw a social network based on "folksonomy" ("social tagging") in order to understand how the web’s collaborative potential establishes spaces for public engagement and network participation. The question is whether network environments (based on collective intelligence and action) promote a new kind of citizenship and consequently sociability with new social relationships and practices.
