Abstract

Este ensaio aborda os contributos de Carlos Amaral Dias para o problema da toxicodependência, através de uma entrevista imaginária com Carlos Amaral Dias, acompanhando as suas discussões teóricas e clínicas. Entre as diversas dimensões do problema, é sobre o vértice do funcionamento mental que o autor do artigo propõe pensar este fenómeno- sintoma.

This essay approaches the contribution of Carlos Amaral Dias to the problem of toxicodependence, through an imaginary interview with Carlos Amaral Dias, accompanying his theoretical and clinical discussions. Among the several dimensions of the problem, it is on the vortex of mental functioning that the essay’s author proposes thinking on this phenomenon-symptom.
