Scientific reviewers

Interações: Sociedade e as novas modernidades relies on a body of external scientific reviewers, both national and international, composed of specialists with recognised academic expertise and research experience in the journal’s scientific areas.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process, ensuring reciprocal anonymity between authors and reviewers. This procedure aims to guarantee impartiality, scientific rigour and academic quality.

Reviewers are selected by the director and editor-in-chief according to their thematic expertise, academic background and suitability for the manuscript under review. The review process focuses on criteria such as originality, scientific relevance, theoretical framework, methodological robustness, clarity of presentation and contribution to the advancement of knowledge.

The journal applies strict ethical principles to the review process, requiring confidentiality, declaration of potential conflicts of interest and the delivery of well-founded, constructive reports aimed at improving submitted manuscripts.

Reviewers’ work is a central element of Interações’ editorial project and is recognised as essential to the journal’s scientific credibility, editorial quality and academic integrity.
