O Papel do Ativismo Digital na Construção de um Imaginário Pan-Africano

Resumo

O presente artigo explora o papel do ativismo digital na formação de uma identidade pan-africana decolonial, destacando a forma como as plataformas digitais permitem desafiar as narrativas hegemónicas e eurocêntricas que historicamente têm perpetuado estereótipos sobre África e as suas diásporas. Utilizando um quadro teórico que combina a decolonialidade e o pan-africanismo, o artigo examina a forma como o ativismo digital contribui para a criação de novas identidades africanas e afrodescendentes, fomentando a solidariedade transnacional que transcende as fronteiras geográficas e culturais. O estudo revisita autores-chave no debate sobre colonialismo, representações mediáticas e identidade, demonstrando que a comunicação digital pode ser uma ferramenta essencial para desconstruir imaginários coloniais e valorizar a pluralidade e complexidade das experiências africanas contemporâneas.
